Making yet another West A Olympian is this upcoming freshman Jonathan O. Newton “J.J.” With a time of 49.9 he finished third overall in the 14B age group in the 400 meter dash at the Junior Olympics and is looking to get even better as the track and field season inches closer. Congratulations to J.J. on this incredible achievement!

On August 16th, we had two West A cross country runners finish first overall in Men and Woman groups respectively. Brennan Patterson finished with a time of 17:39, and Grace Fritzman finished with a time of 19:10. With this win the Cross Country team looks to carry this momentum going into the beginning of their season!

Junior Olympians and All-Americans at West A!

On August 3rd, Grace Fritzman and Camryn Bruno both competed in the 2024 AAU Jr. Olympics in Greensboro, NC. Grace took home a silver medal in the 3000 meter run and Camryn placed 6th overall in the 3000 meter run. Both of these ladies, with their amazing times, qualify as All-American athletes.
